PITTSBURGH, PA, March 6, 2025 — Big Deal Pictures in collaboration with Hawk Hill Pictures is excited to announce that the crime thriller Down to the Felt will make its world premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival on March 14, 2025. The film is slated for additional screenings at the Cleveland International Film Festival on April 3 & 4 and at the Cinema Columbus Film Festival on April 30.
Directed by Jon Osbeck, Down to the Felt is a riveting thriller that plunges viewers into the high-stakes world of gambling and contract killers. The plot centers around a charming underdog gambler who gets in deeper than ever before, when he makes a desperate deal with a devout conflicted hitman, that turns into a perilous winner-takes-all game of life.

The film features an impressive ensemble cast including Michael Weston (Pathology, House M.D.), Scottie Thompson (12 Monkeys, The Blacklist), Michael Stahl-David (Cloverfield, The Deuce), and Cullen Douglas (Barry, Criminal Minds).
Down to the Felt combines action and intense suspense, featuring exquisite cinematography by Anthony Codispoti and a hauntingly suspenseful original score by Adam Robl and Shawn Sutta.
