CHICAGO – Patrick McDonald of HollywoodChicago.com audio film review for the new film “The Stress is Killing Me,” a post millennial take on a “Big Chill” style college class of 2002 reunion, 20 years down the road. Available through digital download since March 7th.
Todd (Theron LaFountain), and Sue (April Hartman) has rented a house for that 20-year college reunion. After the festivities their closest friends Jason (Grayson Barry), Kiki (Carly Christopher), Paul (Matthew Page), Dr. Donna (Crystal Thomas), Marcie (Lisa Lucas) and Will (Barry Landers) are invited to stay the week in the rental. Faster than you can say plot device, they all decide to forget their real careers … doctor, lawyer, advertising chief … to become what they really want to do … yoga instructor, priest and sex therapist. Throughout the seven days they will explore the lost loves, lost dreams and a missing vibrator (I kid you not).
”The Stress is Killing Me” is currently available through digital download on various platforms. Featuring Theron LaFountain, April Hartman, Grayson Barry. Carly Christopher. Matthew Page, Crystal Thomas, Lisa Lucas and Barry Landers. Written and directed by Tom Carroll. Rated “R”
